Back home on American soil. Its bittersweet.

Just landed at O' Hare. Home...but not quite yet. 3 hour bus ride sounds like 3 days.

We busted our tail to make our flight only to find there is a delay due to weather in Chicago. Delays at O'Hare...imagine that.

Our team just landed in Miami. 20 minutes early. Why is everyone in such a hurry?

Fun Monday!

Another fantastic day of serving here in the D.R. We have a few "casualties" here and there but it's usually taken care of by drinking more water and just a little extra sleep. The heat and humidity has been strong but God created it so....we have made it work. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is our last full day of service. We are asking God for that last shot of energy ( spiritually and physically) to give all that we can. And we are looking forward to dumping our containers here in the D.R. and giving everything that is in us.

P.S. I just clicked "spellcheck" here at the internet cafe and every word came up. I wish I could send this out in Spanish! HA

Hot fun in the D.R. today!

We had a great time with the local Dominican kids today. Many of our teens have had the chance to connect with them as well as invite them to church services. The "play of the day" had to come from our very own Nate Hasty. Nate was playing outfield during a softball game with the kids and made a diving grab for an out into the left field....field. Yea,..he kissed some barbed wire and lost 2 layers of skin on his legs but did get the out. Along with the respect of the Dominicans. Thanks for praying friends!
